Dutch quality and sustainability in Mexico
Over the past few years the animal-related production has grown strongly, especially within the pig and poultry chain, followed at some distance by the cattle industry. There is a demand for high-quality and sustainable products, as the effects of sustainability are becoming increasingly evident, even in Mexico: driven by a growing awareness among citizens, consumers and authorities, coupled with more demanding requirements from (potential) foreign customers.
The Dutch agricultural sector has an excellent reputation: high-quality, innovative, perhaps a little more expensive, but yielding a higher return. It is especially in the animal sector that the Netherlands can offer a welcome alternative in these parts of the world, despite the current huge influence from the US. Because sustainability is one of the distinguishing characteristics of the Netherlands agribusiness, the Holland Pavilion and the Holland seminar that is being organised, will be focusing on ‘sustainable production in the animal sector’.
The Holland pavilion is organised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. Participants present at the pavilion will be: Fancom, Dutch Farm International, Tijdhof persmatrijzen, Van Aarssen, Bouwimpex, Nedap Agri, Nooyen Pig Flooring, Holland Heater. We look forward to welcoming you at the pavilion, at our stand number 511!
