In April 2010 the procedure for the letter of invitation / visa changed. Each person needs to register via the Government as to obtain an unique code. The procedure is as follows:

1.       Register (per person) via the Government http://www.inm.gob.mx/solicitudes-web/internacion.html

2.       After the registration you receive a number. Send this number together with the PDF confirmation letter (2 pages) and a copy of your passport to our Partner FIGAP at pjazo@figap.com (FIGAP needs to list the code in the letter of invitation.)

3.       Our Partner FIGAP prepares the letter of invitation and makes the arrangement at the Government office. FIGAP goes to the Government office 1 time per week.

4.       After the procedure our partner FIGAP sends the letter of invitation to you by e-mail and/or regular post. With the letter of invitation you can apply for the actual visa at the Mexican Embassy or Consulate General in your country.

The total process takes about 20 days.
